In regio Sint-Niklaas kom je terecht bij een familiale machinebouwer die machines en installaties ontwikkelt voor de behandeling van bulkgoederen. Denk aan transportsystemen, trechters en bunkers voor uiteenlopende industriële toepassingen. De organisatie beschikt over een eigen productieomgeving, waardoor engineering en uitvoering nauw op elkaar aansluiten binnen een technisch sterk team.

Als Mechanical Design Engineer werk je in opdracht van de projectleider aan nieuwe machines en constructies. Afhankelijk van het project ben je betrokken tijdens de ontwerp-, productie- of montagefase, waardoor je een gevarieerde functie krijgt met veel technische afwisseling.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als mechanisch ontwerpingenieur teken je machines en metaalconstructies uit in Inventor, steeds in overleg met de projectleider
  • Tijdens de uitvoering verwerk je wijzigingen en zorg je dat technische plannen correct worden afgestemd op productie en montage
  • Je maakt de nodige productietekeningen, montageplannen en materiaallijsten op en ondersteunt bij prijsaanvragen en bestellingen
  • Doorheen het project volg je de technische uitvoering mee op en spring je bij wanneer er tijdens productie of montage vragen of problemen ontstaan
  • Afhankelijk van het dossier kan je ook betrokken worden bij opmetingen en verdere technische afstemming richting klant
  • Je beschikt over een bachelor in Mechanica, Elektromechanica of een gelijkaardige technische richting
  • Ook als pas afgestudeerde kom je in aanmerking, zolang je een sterke interesse hebt in mechanisch ontwerp en machinebouw
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en praktisch, communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en voelt je thuis binnen een technisch team met korte lijnen
