Functieomschrijving:

  • Aansturen, coachen en motiveren van een uitgebreid productieteam, ondersteund door verschillende team- en productiesupportfuncties.
  • Zorgen voor een vlot, efficiënt en kwaliteitsvol productieproces, met aandacht voor veiligheid, planning en continuïteit.
  • Vertalen van dagelijkse operationele uitdagingen naar structurele en strategische verbeteracties.
  • Bewaken en optimaliseren van productie-efficiëntie, kwaliteit en machinebeschikbaarheid, inclusief het initiëren van automatisatie- en verbeterprojecten.
  • Nauwe samenwerking met kwaliteit en supply chain om interne en externe kwaliteitsissues structureel aan te pakken.
  • Analyseren van KPI’s en productie-indicatoren en deze gebruiken als basis voor onderbouwde beslissingen.
  • Actieve rol opnemen in verbetertrajecten, workshops en toekomstgerichte productie-initiatieven (zoals QRM en digitale fabriekconcepten).
  • De Production Manager rapporteert aan de Operations Manager en maakt deel uit van het managementteam.

Profiel:

  • Minstens 3 jaar leidinggevende ervaring binnen een productie- of industriële omgeving.
  • Professionele bachelor of master in een technische of wetenschappelijke richting, of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Sterk organisatorisch en analytisch vermogen; behoudt overzicht en ziet opportuniteiten in complexe situaties.
  • Coachende, mensgerichte leiderschapsstijl gecombineerd met resultaatgerichtheid en besluitvaardigheid.
  • Perfecte communicatiestijl in het Nederlands en Engels.
