Als junior software engineer bij een organisatie in de industriële automatisering in Amsterdam werk je aan de besturing van machines en processen. Je vertaalt functionele wensen naar overzichtelijke software en leert hoe PLC’s, HMI’s en industriële netwerken samenwerken. Daarbij gaat het niet alleen om programmeren: je verdiept je ook in sensoren, aandrijvingen en de manier waarop een installatie veilig en betrouwbaar moet functioneren. In de dagelijkse praktijk bouw je je ervaring op met het aanpassen, testen en documenteren van besturingssoftware. Je bespreekt oplossingen met ervaren engineers en stemt signalen en machinefuncties af met collega’s uit de elektrotechniek. Door code te laten beoordelen en storingen stap voor stap te analyseren, ontwikkel je een gestructureerde werkwijze. Zo groei je in PLC-programmering, visualisatie en het begrijpen van complete besturingssystemen. Functie-inhoud - PLC-software schrijven en aanpassen onder begeleiding van ervaren engineers - HMI-schermen uitwerken voor bediening, statusweergave en alarmmeldingen - Besturingsfuncties testen aan de hand van functionele eisen - I/O-signalen controleren en softwarestoringen systematisch analyseren - Softwarewijzigingen, testresultaten en technische keuzes documenteren - Afstemmen met elektrotechnische collega’s over signalen en machinefuncties Functie-eisen - Een technische opleiding op mbo-4- of hbo-niveau, bijvoorbeeld elektrotechniek, mechatronica of industriële automatisering - Basiskennis van PLC-programmering vanuit je opleiding, stage of eigen projecten - Interesse in ontwikkelomgevingen zoals Siemens TIA Portal of Beckhoff TwinCAT - Basisbegrip van sensoren, actuatoren en elektrische schema’s - Een nauwkeurige aanpak bij programmeren, testen en documenteren - Bereidheid om vragen te stellen, feedback te verwerken en samen te werken Aanbod - Bruto maandsalaris tussen € 3.100 en € 3.700 (indicatie op basis van functie en ervaring) - Praktijkervaring met software die machines en.
