Als junior adviseur onderzoeker waterveiligheid adviseer je klanten over de aanleg en het beheer van deze essentiële onderdelen van onze waterinfrastructuur. Je onderzoekt hoe we deze veilig kunnen maken en houden. Je signaleert en analyseert ontwikkelingen die van invloed zijn op de ondergrond, de kering en daarmee de waterveiligheid. Met jouw kennis duid je de effecten van klimaatverandering, onderzoek je bodemdaling, volg je hoogwatersituaties en draag je daarmee bij aan oplossingen voor waterveiligheidsvraagstukken. Daarnaast werk je mee aan het ontwikkelen van kennis voor ontwerpen, beoordelen en beheren van dijken. De nieuwe kennis wordt gevalideerd in onder meer onze experimentele faciliteiten, en in leidraden en D-serie software instrumentarium vastgelegd . Deze worden weer door jouzelf en de sector gebruikt. Dit delen maakt dat er veel verbinding is met onze partners en opdrachtgevers, nationaal en internationaal. Je belangrijkste taken zijn: - Advisering op het vlak van geotechniek en risicobenadering in studies voor waterkeringen en dijken. - Uitvoering en review van beoordelingen van dijkverst...
