Werken in een team, mogen groeien en impact hebben op het leren en leven van onze 60.000 leerlingen en cursisten. Daarom kies je voor Stedelijk Onderwijs! Met 7300 collega’s vormen we één groot netwerk van scholen, academies en centra verspreid over de stad.

Kinderen met een zware beperking ondersteunen zodat ze naar school kunnen blijven gaan. Dat is wat MFC Antwerpen doet. Onze (para)medici, opvoeders en/of zorgkundigen geven dagelijks zorg en therapie in 5 buitengewone stedelijke scholen in en rond Antwerpen.

Ons multifunctioneel centrum huist in hetzelfde gebouw als de school. Als MFC-expert kan je zo intensief samenwerken met de leerkrachten en medewerkers van de school. We stemmen welzijns- en onderwijsdoelen op elkaar af en onderzoeken hoe we elkaar kunnen versterken. Zo kunnen we samen een kind maximaal laten groeien.

Wat doe je?

Je bent werkzaam in een multidisciplinair team dat geïntegreerd werkt met de school. Je geeft je individuele kinesitherapie en groepstherapie. Je baseert je daarvoor op het handelingsplan van de kinderen die je toegewezen zijn in je uurrooster. Maaltijdbegeleiding is ook een vast onderdeel van je takenpakket. Je werkt nauw samen met je collega's van het MFC (logo, kiné, ergo, verzorgenden, verpleging,...) en je collega's van de school.

  • Conditietraining
  • Staat in voor het advies, begeleiding en opvolging van de orthopedische hulpmiddelen.
  • Zorgt voor een goede voorbereiding van zijn/haar therapie en werkt therapiedoelen uit
  • Ondersteunt therapeutisch zwemmen
  • Staat in voor het uitwerken / begeleiden van groepslessen in samenwerking met de klas (fijne / grove motoriek, Sherborne

Je bent flexibel en bij voorkeur gekend met de doelgroep. Je kan zelfstandig werken.

  • Staat mee in voor de nabewaking, evenals voor de vakantiewerking en woensdagnamiddagwerking
