Werkomgeving OLVG is een groot topklinisch ziekenhuis waar veel oog is voor opleiding, onderzoek en kwaliteit van zorg, in het hart van Amsterdam. De vakgroep KNO-Heelkunde van OLVG levert hoogcomplexe zorg op onderscheidend niveau. Voor slaapgerelateerde pathologie heeft OLVG een gerenommeerd derdelijns Slaapcentrum met, naast klinische expertise, ook aanzienlijke wetenschappelijke expertise en output. Onze vakgroep werkt daarin nauw samen met longartsen, kaakchirurgen en neurologen. We verzorgen de B-opleiding in samenwerking met Amsterdam UMC. Onze vakgroep bestaat uit 10 KNO-artsen. Naast de AIOS KNO zijn er physician assistants, co-assistenten, semi-artsen, huisartsen in opleiding en arts-onderzoekers werkzaam op onze afdeling. OLVG heeft meerdere locaties in Amsterdam. We oefenen onze praktijk uit op de locaties Oosterpark (OLVG locatie Oost), Jan Tooropstraat (OLVG locatie West) en Spuistraat. We hebben een nauwe samenwerking met Medisch Centrum Jan van Goyen. Hier zal ook een gedeelte van de werkzaamheden plaatsvinden. Wij bieden Werken bij OLVG betekent werken in hét stadsziekenhuis van Amsterdam.
