Bij een specialist in industriële automatisering in Breda geef je technische richting aan projecten voor besturingssystemen. Als Lead Engineer Automation vertaal je klantvragen naar een softwarearchitectuur waarin PLC-besturing, SCADA/HMI en industriële netwerken samenkomen. Je begeleidt het traject van concept tot inbedrijfstelling en bewaakt de samenhang tussen technische keuzes, softwarekwaliteit en projectvoortgang. Daarbij combineer je inhoudelijk engineeringwerk met het aansturen en coachen van engineers. In de dagelijkse praktijk bespreek je systeemeisen met klanten, stem je interfaces af binnen een multidisciplinair team en help je collega's bij complexe besturingsvraagstukken. Je beoordeelt ontwerpen en software op betrouwbaarheid, onderhoudbaarheid en testbaarheid. Ook houd je zicht op de planning en maak je technische afwegingen inzichtelijk voor betrokkenen. Door projecten in verschillende sectoren en het toepassen van relevante nieuwe automatiseringstechnieken verdiep je je expertise en ontwikkel je je verder als technisch leider. Functie-inhoud - Ontwerpen van besturingssystemen en softwarearchitecturen voor industriële automatiseringsprojecten - Vertalen van klantbehoeften naar technische eisen en uitvoerbare automatiseringsoplossingen - Technisch aansturen en inhoudelijk coachen van een team engineers - Bewaken van softwarekwaliteit en de samenhang tussen PLC, SCADA/HMI en industriële netwerken - Begeleiden van projecten van concept tot inbedrijfstelling, inclusief planning en technische keuzes - Beoordelen van nieuwe automatiseringstechnieken op praktische toepasbaarheid Functie-eisen - Afgeronde WO-opleiding in Elektrotechniek, Mechatronica, Technische Informatica of een vergelijkbare richting - Ruime ervaring met engineering binnen de industriële automatisering - Diepgaande kennis van PLC-systemen, SCADA/HMI en industriële netwerken - Vermogen om technische keuzes te onderbouwen en complexe vraagstukken te analyseren - Vaardigheid in het begele.
