Als leefgroepmedewerker begeleid je samen met je collega’s 10 volwassen bewoners met een matige verstandelijke beperking en specifieke ondersteuningsnoden. Je zorgt voor een veilige, voorspelbare en warme omgeving waarin bewoners zich goed voelen en zich kunnen ontplooien.

Je biedt individuele begeleiding en activiteiten op maat, met een goede balans tussen activering, rust en prikkelverwerking. Je ondersteunt bewoners in hun zelfredzaamheid, sociale contacten en het zinvol invullen van hun dag. Je speelt flexibel in op hun draagkracht en weet je begeleidingsstijl aan te passen wanneer de situatie daarom vraagt.

Samen met het team zorg je voor een duidelijke en consequente aanpak. Open communicatie, samenwerking en elkaar ondersteunen zijn daarbij essentieel.

  • Je hebt een warm hart voor mensen met een verstandelijke beperking en wil hen ondersteunen vanuit hun mogelijkheden.
  • Je bent rustig, geduldig en staat stevig in je schoenen, ook in uitdagende situaties.
  • Je kan structuur en duidelijkheid bieden en grenzen op een consequente manier bewaken.
  • Je kan flexibel schakelen tussen een meer directieve en een meer onderhandelende begeleidingsstijl.
  • Je hebt oog voor signalen van spanning en gedrag en kan je begeleiding hierop afstemmen.
  • Je werkt graag samen, communiceert open en draagt bij aan een hecht en evenwichtig team.
  • Kennis van autisme, probleemgedrag en ondersteunende communicatie is een pluspunt.
  • Je bent bereid om bij te leren en je verder te verdiepen in de specifieke ondersteuningsnoden van onze bewoners.
  • Je beschikt over basiskennis inzake verzorging, hygiëne, ergonomie, EHBO en veilige voeding of bent bereid je hierin verder te ontwikkelen.
