Kunst Centrum Haarlem zoekt een nieuw lid voor de Raad van Toezicht met een juridische achtergrond in het arbeidsrecht. Afhankelijk van ervaring en interesse behoort ook de rol van voorzitter tot de mogelijkheden. De functie is onbezoldigd. Kunst Centrum Haarlem is een kleine, professionele stichting zonder winstoogmerk met als doel kunst toegankelijk te maken door kunstwerken uit te lenen en te verkopen. We verbinden kunstenaars met kunstliefhebbers, zowel particulieren als bedrijven en hebben daarmee een bijzondere plek in het culturele leven van Haarlem. Met een team van 13 vaste en tijdelijke medewerkers is het Kunstcentrum een ondernemende organisatie met korte lijnen. De dagelijkse leiding is in handen van een directeur-bestuurder. De Raad van Toezicht houdt toezicht op de koers, continuïteit en kwaliteit van de organisatie en is ook sparringpartner voor de directeur-bestuurder. Verantwoordelijkheden en taken als lid Als lid van de Raad van Toezicht: - Houd je samen met de andere leden toezicht op de strategie, financiële continuïteit en algemene gang van zaken - Adviseer je mede over relevante juridische, arbeidsrechtelijke en governance vraagstukken en naleving van de statutaire en wettelijke verantwoordelijkheden - Denk je mee over goed werkgeverschap, personele ontwikkelingen en de positie en beoordeling van de directeur-bestuurder - Draag je bij aan een zorgvuldige besluitvorming binnen de Raad van Toezicht - Ben je alert op juridische risico's, aansprakelijkheid en belangen van de stichting - Ben je een constructieve en kritische gesprekspartner voor de directeur-bestuurder - Draag je bij aan de verdere professionalisering en toekomstbestendigheid van Kunstcentrum Haarlem Mogelijkheid van het voorzitterschap Afhankelijk van de ervaring, persoonlijkheid en ...
