Als logistiek coördinator zorg jij ervoor dat transporten efficiënt, tijdig en tegen de juiste kosten worden uitgevoerd. Over het werk Voor een internationale organisatie zijn wij op zoek naar een Logistiek Coördinator die verantwoordelijk wordt voor het organiseren en coördineren van transporten. Je werkt op het snijvlak van logistiek, transport en klantenservice en zorgt ervoor dat orders gedurende het volledige proces goed worden opgevolgd. In deze functie maak je dagelijks gebruik van een Transportation Management System (TMS) om transportorders te verwerken, vervoerders te selecteren en zendingen te monitoren. Je zorgt voor een tijdige beschikbaarheid van transportcapaciteit en schakelt hierbij met vervoerders, klanten en interne afdelingen. Daarnaast houd je de voortgang van zendingen nauwlettend in de gaten en los je eventuele problemen of fouten in de transportdata op. Je bewaakt de afspraken rondom tijdige afhaling en levering en denkt actief mee over mogelijkheden om de dienstverlening en logistieke processen verder te verbeteren. Ook krijg je een adviserende en coördinerende rol. Je neemt deel aan KPI-besprekingen met vervoerders, signaleert mogelijkheden voor kostenbesparing en ondersteunt bij het implementeren van verbeteringen. Daarnaast behandel je eventuele afwijkingen in transportfacturen en help je nieuwe klanten en leveranciers met het gebruik van het TMS. Je komt terecht in een internationale werkomgeving waarin nauwkeurigheid, communicatie en eigenaarschap belangrijk zijn.
