Als machinist bij NS doe je precies dat! Je bent onderdeel van ons Topteam op de trein dat dagelijks honderden reizigers op Europa's drukste spoorwegennet begeleidt. Van 's ochtends vroeg tot 's avonds laat vertrouwen mensen op jou terwijl je door prachtige landschappen reist: van bossen op de Veluwe tot uitgestrekte groene vlaktes in Noord-Nederland en door de bruisende Randstad. Je kent de routes als geen ander en staat altijd klaar om reizigers te helpen met vragen over vertrektijden, spoorwijzigingen andere reisinformatie" Meld je aan voor een online informatiesessie en hoor van medewerkers zelf hoe het werk er in de praktijk uitziet. Nederland heeft het drukst bereden spoornet van Europa. Met 7.021 kilometer aan spoor reizen onze klanten tot bijna elke regio in Nederland. De machinisten van NS zorgen ervoor dat dat veilig en op tijd gebeurt. - Zorg jij dat de veiligheid boven alles gaat en je hiernaar handelt door de juiste procedures te volgen ook bij calamiteiten - Werk je samen met collega's die als conducteur en/of treindienstleider werken en jou van informatie voorzien. Dan ga je een interne opleiding volgen van 52 weken (36 uur per week). Je werkt in de praktijk mee op de standplaats onder begeleiding van een werkplekbegeleider en je volgt lessen in het Leercentrum van NS in Amersfoort. Zo combineer je vakkennis met praktijkervaring.
