Manager Vacancy Head Office €4,703 - €7,972 36 hours Date of response: 25 October Will you be our new manager for municipality-wide teams? We are looking for a manager to work 36 hours a week. What will you do? The most important aspect of this role is ensuring that the colleagues you (indirectly) manage are able to carry out their work effectively and, as a result, provide good support to the municipality's residents. That may sound simple, but sometimes it isn't. New initiatives, rules and opportunities are launched both internally and by external parties. It is important to strike a good balance between "continuing to do what works" and "optimising where necessary". You will constantly be called upon to make careful judgements in this regard. Discussions with colleagues and external parties will help you with this. As a manager, you will lead three team leaders, who together manage around 100 colleagues within teams including Youth Work, Volunteering, Informal Care, Community Development, Status Holders, Meeting & Participation, the EPA (Severe Psychiatric Disorders) team, and the EropAf and Collective Working teams. You are therefore responsible for the direction, cohesion and development of these municipality-wide teams without directly managing day-to-day operations. Your role involves - managing the team leaders . Together with your fellow manager and the team leaders, you will work towards a more consistent approach to leadership within the municipality-wide teams. - provide guidance on substantive programmes and tasks. We run a large number of programmes in collaboration with external partners. You will have final responsibility for deciding what we do and will guide the team leaders on how to go about it.
