The posting

Voor een internationaal actieve en groeiende speler in de regio Lummen (Meldert) zijn wij op zoek naar een gedreven en communicatieve Maritiem Transportplanner. In deze rol word je de strategische spilfiguur binnen een hecht team van vier professionals, waar je maandelijks de regie voert over zo'n 1.200 transportbewegingen. Je focust je hierbij op efficiënte, duurzame en kwalitatieve logistieke oplossingen via zee- en binnenvaart.

Ervaring & Opleiding: Je beschikt over een Master-diploma (of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring) en hebt minstens ervaring in een internationale transportomgeving. Daarnaast heb je een sterke interesse in de maritieme logistiek.

Communicatief & Daadkrachtig: Je bent een natuurlijke 'caller' die vlot naar de telefoon grijpt om dossiers in beweging te krijgen en zaken snel te regelen.

Mindset: Je bent resultaatgericht, denkt out-of-the-box en neemt het volledige eigenaarschap over jouw projecten.

Organisatietalent: Je bent stressbestendig, kunt snel schakelen, stelt de juiste prioriteiten en beschikt over een uitstekend planningvermogen.

Talenkennis: Je communiceert vloeiend in het Nederlands en/of Engels, en hebt daarnaast een goede professionele kennis van het Frans.

IT-skills: Je bent handig met MS Office en hebt reeds ervaring opgedaan met ERP-systemen.

Logistieke coordinatie: Je organiseert, plant en optimaliseert bulktransporten via het water en per container voor uiteenlopende commerciële dossiers.

Compliance & Kwaliteitsbewaking: Je zorgt ervoor dat alle maritieme transporten strikt voldoen aan de actuele milieuwetgeving en de interne kwaliteitsstandaarden.

Financieel & administratief beheer: Je bewaakt de transportkosten, voert scherpe prijsonderhandelingen voor bestaande en nieuwe routes, en draagt zorg voor een correcte facturatie.

Procesoptimalisatie: Je signaleert proactief kansen om operationele processen te automatiseren en de logistieke dienstverlening naar een hoger niveau te tillen.

Stakeholder management: Je onderhoudt nauwe en duurzame relaties met zowel interne afdelingen als externe logistieke partners.

Team & back-up: Samen met je collega's beheer je de centrale mailbox en bied je ondersteuning bij de administratieve voorbereiding en wegtransportcoordinatie.

Rapportage: Je analyseert marktontwikkelingen, deelt relevante inzichten met het team en rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Head of Transport.
