Onze klant is een toonaangevende Europese motorenfabrikant met hoofdzetel in Gent. Vanuit de Gentse site worden krachtige middelsnellopende motoren ontwikkeld, gebouwd en getest voor toepassingen over de hele wereld.

De motoren vinden hun weg naar onder andere schepen, locomotieven en generatorsets. Tegelijk kijkt de organisatie voortdurend naar de toekomst en wordt sterk ingezet op de ontwikkeling van motoren die efficiënter, krachtiger en zuiniger zijn en daardoor een lagere uitstoot realiseren.

Als medewerker kom je terecht in een technisch hoogstaande en dynamische omgeving waar grote mechanische installaties, vakmanschap en innovatie samenkomen. Je krijgt de kans om letterlijk mee te werken aan motoren van indrukwekkende omvang en complexiteit en speelt een belangrijke rol voordat ze bij de klant in gebruik worden genomen.

Als Mechanische Proefdraaier zorg je ervoor dat motoren grondig worden getest en gecontroleerd voordat ze de fabriek verlaten. Je staat in voor het correct plaatsen en aansluiten van motoren op de proefbank, voert verschillende testen uit en volgt nauwgezet de voorgeschreven procedures.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Motoren op de proefbank plaatsen en correct positioneren
  • De nodige mechanische aansluitingen en circuits voorzien
  • Motoren voorbereiden voor verschillende testen en controles
  • Verschillende functionele en technische testen uitvoeren
  • Meetresultaten en afwijkingen nauwgezet opvolgen
  • Controleprocedures, werkinstructies, testprocedures en technische specificaties strikt respecteren
  • Eventuele afwijkingen tijdens het testen signaleren en correct rapporteren
  • Na afloop de motor veilig loskoppelen en afbouwen van de proefbank
  • De motor volledig leverklaar maken voor de klant
  • Samenwerken met collega's om iedere testfase veilig, efficiënt en kwalitatief af te ronden
  • Sterke technische interesse en voelt je helemaal thuis in een mechanische productieomgeving
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en proceduregericht en hebt oog voor kwaliteit en veiligheid
  • Je bent praktisch ingesteld, verantwoordelijk en niet bang om met grote en zware mechanische installaties te werken
  • Sterke Nederlandse talenkennis omwille van de veiligheidsvoorschriften en bent een teamplayer die ook zelfstandig kan werken
