Ben jij een technisch ontwerper met een passie voor mechanica, productontwikkeling en continue verbetering? Heb je ervaring met 3D CAD en krijg je energie van het ontwerpen en optimaliseren van technische componenten? Dan is deze functie als Mechanical Design Engineer in Lommel een unieke kans om mee te bouwen aan een ultramoderne productieomgeving!

Wat ga je precies doen?

  • Je ontwerpt en ontwikkelt matrijzen, vormdelen en andere productietools.
  • Je optimaliseert bestaande ontwerpen om kwaliteit, efficiëntie en levensduur te verbeteren.
  • Je analyseert productieproblemen en werkt technische oplossingen uit
  • Je stelt 2D- en 3D-tekeningen op en beheert de technische documentatie
  • Je adviseert over materialen, toleranties, afwerking en productie-instellingen.
  • Je ondersteunt proefproducties en de introductie van nieuwe producten.
  • Je volgt leveranciers op en bewaakt planning, kwaliteit, budget en prestaties van matrijzen.
  • Je analyseert productie- en kwaliteitsdata en vertaalt deze naar concrete verbeteracties.
  • Je neemt deel aan optimalisatie- en innovatieprojecten binnen engineering en productie.
  • Je werkt samen met verschillende afdelingen en deelt technische kennis met collega's.

Ben jij de analytische en creatieve engineer die we zoeken?

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor in Werktuigbouwkunde, Industrieel Ontwerpen, Materiaaltechnologie of een vergelijkbare richting.
  • Je hebt ervaring met technisch ontwerp binnen een industriële omgeving.
  • Ervaring met matrijsontwerp of productieprocessen is een sterke troef.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van 3D CAD-software, bij voorkeur CATIA
  • Je bent vertrouwd met technische tekeningen, toleranties en normen zoals ISO en DIN.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en beschikt over een sterk analytisch denkvermogen.
  • Je bent oplossingsgericht en denkt actief mee over verbeteringen.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels.
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, maar functioneert ook uitstekend binnen een multidisciplinair team.
