Voor onze klant te Houthalen zijn we op zoek naar een mechanical designer cranes

Functieomschrijving:

Voor elke opdracht van een klant wordt een engineeringteam samengesteld. Dit bestaat uit een projectleider, een studie-ingenieur, een elektrisch ontwerper en… een mechanisch ontwerper!

Jouw rol binnen dit multidisciplinair team betreft het creëren en uitwerken van het mechanisch model in 3D. Hierbij vertrek je van de berekeningen van de studie-ingenieur om een veilige en toegankelijke machine te ontwerpen, waarbij je de input van de projectleider en de elektrisch ontwerper in het totaalontwerp integreert. Het mechanisch model bestaat uit lasconstructies, mechanisch bewerkte lasconstructies en mechanismen met hun onderdelen.

Een greep uit jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Je werkt in nauw overleg met je collega’s, om zo tot een degelijk totaalontwerp te komen dat voldoet aan hetgeen werd overeengekomen met de klant en de specifieke normen voor hijstoestellen. Het moet echter ook eenvoudig te fabriceren, te installeren en te onderhouden zijn, en dit rekening houdend met de kostprijs. Hiervoor kan je beroep doen op de in-house aanwezige expertise bij de afdelingen productie, montage en service.
  • Vervolgens creëer je voor verschillende interne en externe partijen, vertrekkend van dit 3D-model, samenstellings- en onderdeeltekeningen:
  • Voor de projectleider ter bespreking met de klant
  • Om de nodige onderdelen in eigen productie of bij onderaannemers te fabriceren
  • Om deze onderdelen in onze werkplaatsen en op locatie samen te bouwen tot een perfect werkend geheel
  • Je geeft uitleg over je modellen en tekeningen aan je collega’s.
  • Je organiseert je eigen taken in functie van de projectplanning en houdt hierover een goed overzicht.
  • Je integreert feedback van teamleden en andere afdelingen in nieuwe ontwerpen.
  • Je ontwikkelt voortdurend je kennis en technische vaardigheden zodat je deze job steeds beter kan uitvoeren.

Profiel

  • Bachelor /Master Electromechanica of gelijkwaardig
  • Minimum een 1ste relevante werkervaring als Mechanical designer binnen machinebouw of gelijkwaardig
  • Sterk technisch en ruimtelijk inzicht
  • Goede communicator en comfortabel binnen een multidisciplinair team
  • Technische specificaties goed kunnen evalueren
  • Stressbestendig, respectvol, zin voor initiatief
  • Goede kennis van Office software
  • Goede kennis van het Engels. Bijkomende talen zijn mooi meegenomen
