In deze functie als Mechanical Engineer combineer je techniek, creativiteit en nauwkeurigheid in een omgeving waar jouw ideeën ook echt verder worden uitgewerkt. Je werkt aan innovatieve systemen voor de offshore en baggerindustrie vanuit Numansdorp, binnen een hecht team met korte lijnen. - Je ontwerpt en modelleert mechanische onderdelen en systemen in 3D, onder andere met Inventor. - Je werkt concepten en basisontwerpen uit tot productierijpe tekeningen en stuklijsten. - Je maakt mechanische en hydraulische berekeningen, van handberekening tot FEM. - Je schakelt met collega's uit andere disciplines en houdt kwaliteit, maakbaarheid en voortgang goed in de gaten. - Je denkt actief mee over verbeteringen en werkt mee aan klantgerichte totaaloplossingen. Functie-eisen Je bent een werktuigbouwkundig engineer die graag verantwoordelijkheid neemt en technisch tot de kern wil gaan. Je schakelt makkelijk tussen zelfstandig uitwerken en samenwerken, houdt het overzicht in complexe projecten en kunt ontwerpkeuzes duidelijk toelichten. Daarbij werk je nauwkeurig, met focus op resultaat en oog voor kwaliteit. - Hbo werk- en denkniveau in de richting werktuigbouwkunde. - Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare engineeringfunctie. - Basiskennis van hydrauliek en mechanische berekeningen. - Ervaring met 3D CAD-software, bij voorkeur Inventor. - Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal.
