Een uitdagende functie met focus op preventie en welzijn op het werk in een technisch indrukwekkende omgeving, veel sociaal contact en veel variatie qua taken (bureauwerk / site visits) en locaties (HQ in Wolvertem / internationale projecten).

Your job in a nutshell:

  • Je vertegenwoordigt de interne dienst voor preventie en bescherming op het werk.
  • Je zorgt ervoor dat iedereen volgens de Sarens’ SHEQ-normen werkt. Je ziet erop toe en sensibiliseert mensen om hun werk zo veilig, efficiënt en kwalitatief mogelijk uit te voeren.
  • Je gaat regelmatig op site visits voor buitenlandse projecten (30%). Hier voer je een uitgebreide SHEQ analyse en risicobeoordeling van de werkplek uit en coach je medewerkers waar nodig.
  • Je analyseert alle arbeidsongevallen en incidenten en behandelt alle administratie die hierbij komt kijken.
  • Je formuleert aanbevelingen aan de business inzake werkkledij, -instrumenten en -methodes.
  • Je staat mee in voor het opstellen en implementeren van het SHEQ-beleid, processen en procedures.
  • Je organiseert SHEQ veiligheidsintroducties voor nieuwe medewerkers en je streeft ernaar de interne SHEQ kennis van alle medewerkers up-to-date te houden aan de hand van SHEQ toolboxen.
  • Je bent een Sarens SHEQ ambassadeur ten alle tijden, zowel naar interne collega’s toe als naar externe partijen zoals klanten, leveranciers...

In deze functie maak je deel uit van het SHEQ team en zal je rapporteren aan de SHEQ Manager.

Wij zijn op zoek naar een gedreven teamspeler met een passie voor preventie en welzijn op het werk. Je bent kritisch ingesteld en voert risicoanalyses uit met de grootste nauwkeurigheid. Je bent een administratieve duizendpoot, weet prioriteiten te stellen en hebt zin voor verantwoordelijkheid. Door je sterke analytische skills en probleemoplossend vermogen bouw je verder aan een veilige werkomgeving voor alle medewerkers. Je goede communicatievaardigheden, je aanpassingsvermogen in functie van de doelgroep en je aanzienlijke overtuigingskracht zorgen ervoor dat je medewerkers sensibiliseert.

De profielvereisten:

  • Diploma Preventieadviseur (minimaal niveau 2).
  • Ervaring als SHEQ Coordinator, Preventieadviseur... in een technische (project)omgeving.
  • Interesse in techniek en de heavy lifting sector.
  • Communicatief sterk in het Nederlands, Engels (en idealiter Frans) (zowel mondeling als schriftelijk).
  • Sterke ICT-vaardigheden (o.a. MS Office).
  • Bereidheid om te reizen (+/- 30%).
