Deze organisatie ontwikkelt en bouwt klantspecifieke systemen en apparaten binnen de sector systemen en apparaten. De organisatie werkt nauw samen met productieteams om technische ontwerpen te realiseren en waar nodig aan te passen. Het werkterrein omvat mechanisch ontwerp, mechatronische integratie en samenwerking met disciplines zoals elektronica en software voor embedded en industriële besturingssystemen. De organisatie voert engineering- en bouwactiviteiten uit in een productieomgeving en richt zich op klantgerichte oplossingen die in de praktijk getest en gevalideerd worden. In Rotterdam vindt de operationele uitvoering en het technisch ontwerp plaats, waarbij aandacht is voor praktische uitvoerbaarheid en overdracht naar de productie. In de rol van Constructeur worden ontwerpdocumentatie en 3 D-modellen opgesteld en uitgewerkt zodat productie en service hierop kunnen voortbouwen. Er wordt gewerkt met 3 D CAD en er is ruimte voor ontwikkeling en scholing binnen het vakgebied. De samenwerking met het productieteam en met collega-engineers is belangrijk voor het slagen van projecten in Rotterdam. De organisatie biedt ruimte voor eigen inbreng en stimuleert vakinhoudelijke ontwikkeling en kennisdeling.
