The posting

Je werkt aan de ontwikkeling van nieuwe en bestaande producten binnen een internationale, technisch georiënteerde organisatie. Je koppelt 3D CAD en mechanical design aan prototyping, testen en samenwerking met productie, leveranciers en interne afdelingen over de volledige productlevenscyclus.

  • Ontwikkelen van nieuwe producten van eerste concept tot vrijgave voor productie binnen een gestructureerd productontwikkelingsproces.
  • Vertalen van functionele en technische vereisten naar haalbare, doordachte ontwerpen met aandacht voor functioneel ontwerp.
  • Opstellen en optimaliseren van 3D-modellen en technische tekeningen met focus op kwaliteit en detail.
  • Gedetailleerd uitwerken van ontwerpen zodat ze geschikt zijn voor productie en assemblage, in nauwe afstemming met productie.
  • Ondersteunen van de bouw van prototypes, meewerken aan testen en productvalidatie en analyseren van testresultaten.
  • Vertalen van testresultaten naar concrete productverbeteringen en optimalisatie van bestaande producten.
  • Nemen van technische beslissingen in overleg met ervaren engineeringcollega's en bewaken van de gekozen ontwerprichting.
  • Rechtstreeks afstemmen met leveranciers over technische haalbaarheid, materialen en productietechnieken.
  • Zorgen voor een correcte en volledige beheer van technische productgegevens in het PLM-systeem.
  • Technische ondersteuning bieden aan afdelingen zoals Product Management, Test Engineering en Operations bij inhoudelijke vragen.

Je combineert een stevige technische basis in elektromechanica, werktuigbouwkunde of productontwikkeling met ervaring in mechanical design en 3D CAD. Je denkt analytisch, werkt nauwkeurig en neemt graag ownership over je ontwerpen binnen een gestructureerde ontwikkelingsomgeving.

  • Bachelor- of masterdiploma in Elektromechanica, Productontwikkeling, Werktuigbouwkunde of een vergelijkbare technische richting.
  • Bij voorkeur 2 tot 8 jaar ervaring binnen productontwikkeling, mechanical design of een gelijkaardige engineeringfunctie.
  • Sterke kennis van 3D CAD en technische tekeningen; ervaring met SolidWorks is een belangrijke troef.
  • Inzicht in materialen, productietechnieken en Design for Manufacturing, met aandacht voor kostprijs, kwaliteit en produceerbaarheid.
  • Hands-on ingesteld, je voelt duidelijk ownership over je ontwerpen en werkt gestructureerd met oog voor detail.
  • Analytische denker die actief zoekt naar haalbare technische oplossingen en bestaande ontwerpen kritisch durft te evalueren.
  • Communicatief sterk en graag samenwerkend met engineers, leveranciers en andere interne afdelingen.
  • Vlotte communicatie in het Nederlands en Engels; kennis van Frans of Duits is een extra plus.
  • Comfortabel in een gestructureerde productontwikkelingsomgeving met duidelijke projectfasen en deadlines.
