Je werkt binnen een internationaal productontwikkelingsteam dat oplossingen ontwikkelt voor campers, caravans en andere recreatieve voertuigen. Daarbij neem je de technische verantwoordelijkheid op voor adapterkits die de juiste aansluiting en montage van producten op uiteenlopende voertuigtypes garanderen.

  • Ontwikkelen en ontwerpen van adapterkits voor verschillende voertuigtypes en producttoepassingen binnen mechanisch ontwerp en werktuigbouwkunde.
  • Vertalen van technische vereisten naar oplossingen die correct functioneren op vlak van vorm, aansluiting, gebruik en validatie.
  • Uitwerken van concepten in 3D CAD, met oog voor maakbaarheid, montage, technische haalbaarheid en verdere productoptimalisatie.
  • Zelfstandig beheren van ontwikkelingsprojecten van conceptfase tot vrijgave voor productie, inclusief opvolging richting productie-engineering.
  • Doorvoeren van verbeteringen en kwaliteitsoptimalisaties aan bestaande adapterkits op basis van testresultaten en marktfeedback.
  • Beoordelen van prototypes en stalen van leveranciers en controleren of deze voldoen aan de technische vereisten en tekeningen.
  • Organiseren en uitvoeren van praktische montage- en passingstesten, zowel intern als bij klanten, om de werking onder reële omstandigheden te verifiëren.
  • Nauw samenwerken met productie, aankoop, sales en productmanagement en fungeren als technisch aanspreekpunt voor collega's, klanten en leveranciers.
  • Presenteren van technische concepten en oplossingen aan klanten en opvolgen van nieuwe voertuigmodellen, toepassingen en marktontwikkelingen via klantbezoeken en vakbeurzen.
  • Meewerken aan bredere strategische projecten binnen Product Development en nieuwe evoluties in recreatieve voertuigen vertalen naar concrete technische oplossingen.

Je combineert een stevige technische basis met interesse in voertuigen en productontwikkeling. Je voelt je thuis in mechanisch ontwerp en werkt graag zowel conceptueel als praktisch.

  • Bachelor- of masterdiploma in Industrial Product Design, Productontwikkeling, Elektromechanica, Werktuigbouwkunde of een vergelijkbare technische richting.
  • Een eerste relevante ervaring binnen productontwikkeling, mechanisch ontwerp of productie-engineering is een plus, maar gemotiveerde schoolverlaters komen zeker in aanmerking.
  • Goede basiskennis van mechanisch ontwerp, technische tekeningen en bij voorkeur ervaring met 3D CAD; kennis van SolidWorks is een troef.
  • Sterk ruimtelijk inzicht en begrip van hoe onderdelen mechanisch op elkaar aansluiten, inclusief aandacht voor montage en praktische toepasbaarheid.
  • Analytische aanpak: je kunt technische problemen structureren en vertalen naar haalbare, praktische oplossingen.
  • Creatieve ingesteldheid en interesse in conceptontwikkeling voor nieuwe toepassingen en voertuigtoepassingen.
  • Vlotte communicator die zich comfortabel voelt in overleg met collega's, klanten en leveranciers en zelfstandig projecten opvolgt.
  • Natuurlijke interesse in voertuigen, bij voorkeur ook in campers, caravans of andere recreatieve voertuigen.
  • Zeer goede kennis van het Nederlands en professionele communicatieve vaardigheden in het Engels; basiskennis Frans is gewenst en Duits is een extra troef.
  • Vlot werken met Microsoft Office voor rapportering, opvolging en communicatie.
