Onze partner, gevestigd in regio Kortrijk, maakt deel uit van dezelfde grotere industriële groep en is gespecialiseerd in de ontwikkeling van innovatieve verwerkingsinstallaties voor natuurlijke grondstoffen. Deze machines vinden hun toepassing binnen een specifieke agro-industriële sector, waar precisie en betrouwbaarheid essentieel zijn. Als familiaal bedrijf binnen een internationale group combineert deze speler de nabijheid en korte communicatielijnen van een kmo met de slagkracht van een grotere groep. Vandaag is dit bedrijf op zoek naar een ervaren Mechanisch Ontwerper om mee vorm te geven aan de machines van morgen.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als mechanical design engineer sta je in voor het ontwerp van nieuwe en bestaande verwerkingsinstallaties
  • Je analyseert bestaande ontwerpen kritisch en onderzoekt hoe deze herwerkt kunnen worden om te voldoen aan nieuwe eisen, normen en klantverwachtingen
  • Daarnaast ontwerp je nieuwe machines en installaties vanaf de conceptfase tot de detailengineering
  • Bij complexe technische uitdagingen ben jij de aangewezen persoon om doordachte en innovatieve oplossingen uit te werken
  • Bovendien ontwikkel je nieuwe concepten, werkingsprincipes en constructiemethodes
  • Verder voer je sterkteberekeningen en technische analyses uit, zowel ter ondersteuning van je ontwerpen als om de betrouwbaarheid en veiligheid van de machines te garanderen
  • Tot slot werk je nauw samen met Sales, Productie, de Project Engineer en de Head of Engineering om jouw ontwerpen succesvol te realiseren, en zoek je voortdurend naar manieren om machines eenvoudiger, robuuster en efficiënter te maken
  • Je behaalde een Master- of Bachelordiploma in Elektromechanica, Ontwerp en Productietechnologie of een gelijkaardige richting, of bouwde een gelijkwaardige achtergrond op via ervaring
  • Daarnaast heb je minstens drie jaar relevante werkervaring
  • Sterkteberekeningen en technische analyses hebben voor jou weinig geheimen, en je lost complexe technische vraagstukken met plezier op
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands
