Heb jij een passie voor mechanische productontwikkeling en al enkele jaren ervaring in een technische ontwerpomgeving? Wil je graag meewerken aan slimme, modulaire oplossingen die wereldwijd worden ingezet? Dan is dit jouw kans!

Voor dit internationaal actief productiebedrijf in de regio Waregem, gespecialiseerd in hoogwaardige profielsystemen, zoeken we versterking voor het R&D-team. Het team telt vandaag vier collega’s en wordt nu uitgebreid met een mechanisch Product Developer.

Je komt terecht in een multidisciplinair en hecht team, waar je technische creativiteit echt tot zijn recht komt. In deze rol bouw je mee aan designgerichte constructies en metaaloplossingen voor uiteenlopende toepassingen.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Je ontwikkelt mechanische producten van concept tot productie, met focus op detail en maakbaarheid
  • Technische concepten vertaal je naar functionele ontwerpen die scoren op gebruiksgemak en uitstraling
  • Je zoekt geschikte leveranciers en stemt productievereisten efficiënt met hen af
  • Door samen te werken met collega’s uit engineering, productie en sales zorg je voor oplossingen die technisch en commercieel kloppen
  • Je blijft up-to-date met nieuwe technieken en materialen
  • Je behaalde een master in industrieel ontwerp, of koppelt een bachelor in ontwerp- en productietechnologie aan stevige ervaring
  • Daarnaast heb je minstens 2 jaar op de teller in mechanische productontwikkeling
  • Met je kennis van 3D-tekenprogramma’s zoals Inventor zet je moeiteloos ideeën om in maakbare ontwerpen
