Als Medewerker Bodemsondering voer je op uiteenlopende locaties geotechnisch bodemonderzoek uit. Geen werkdag is hetzelfde: de ene keer werk je op een bouwterrein, de andere keer bij een infrastructureel project of op een moeilijk bereikbare locatie. Je rijdt met specialistisch materieel naar de projectlocatie en voert daar samen met een collega of zelfstandig sonderingen uit. Je stelt de sondeerinstallatie op, brengt de meetconus de grond in en controleert de meetgegevens digitaal. Afhankelijk van het project voer je ook boringen uit en leg je de verschillende grondlagen vast. Daarnaast zorg je voor een goede voorbereiding, een veilige uitvoering en een correcte afronding van de werkzaamheden. Je houdt het materieel op orde en denkt praktisch mee wanneer je op locatie onverwachte situaties tegenkomt. Ervaring met bodemsondering is niet noodzakelijk. Met technisch inzicht, motivatie en de bereidheid om het vak te leren, kun je je ontwikkelen tot zelfstandig sondeerder en uiteindelijk doorgroeien naar sondeermeester. Het betreft een afwisselende functie voor 32 tot 40 uur per week, met Dodewaard als standplaats. Houd er rekening mee dat werkdagen soms langer kunnen zijn en dat bij projecten op grotere afstand incidenteel een overnachting nodig is.
