We zoeken een Medewerker Technische Dienst voor The Hoxton, Amsterdam. Je rapporteert aan onze Maintenance Manager en bent verantwoordelijk voor het dagelijkse onderhoud in de hotelkamers, publieke ruimtes en back of house.We hebben net een renovatie afgerond en onze publieke ruimtes zien er beter uit dan ooit. Het is een ontzettend leuk moment om bij het team te komen, met een vernieuwd gebouw en een heleboel nieuwe details om te leren kennen en goed te onderhouden.Meer over The HoxtonOoit het huis van de burgemeester, nu ons thuis: The Hoxton, Amsterdam ligt prachtig aan de Herengracht. Het hotel heeft 111 kamers, The Apartment (ons meetings & events concept) en ons all-day restaurant & bar, Lotti's. The Hoxton is een reeks open-house hotels, elk in een buurt waar we van houden. Sinds we ons eerste hotel in Shoreditch openden, draait het bij ons nooit alleen om een bed voor de nacht. We willen meer zijn dan dat: een plek waar gasten zich tussen de locals kunnen begeven en helemaal opgaan in de buurt, met levendige en gastvrije publieke ruimtes.Wat zijn de taken? • Zorgen dat het hotel soepel draait door te repareren wat kapotgaat, het liefst voordat gasten het merken. • Onderhoudsverzoeken van collega's en gasten oppakken en na afronding vastleggen. • Dagelijkse problemen oplossen in gastenkamers, publieke ruimtes en back of house, zoals kapotte lampen, lekkende kranen, verstopte afvoeren, losse bevestigingen en defecte deursloten. • Problemen in kamers oplossen met verwarming, airco, tv's, stopcontacten en minibars. • Meubels, deuren, scharnieren, klinken en gordijnen repareren en afstellen. • Kleine afwerkklusjes doen, zoals bijschilderen, kitten en schilderijen en spiegels ophangen. • Out-of-order kamers zo snel mogelijk weer in gebruik krijgen. • Vaste rondes lopen langs kamers, gangen en technische ruimtes en preventief onderhoud uitvoeren, zodat problemen vroeg worden gesignaleerd en opgelost. • Routinecontroles uitvoeren op apparatuur en veiligheidssystem
