Medior Network Engineer Zuid Holland Organisatie & Afdeling Je komt te werken binnen één van de grootste en meest complexe ICT-infrastructuren van Nederland. Samen met ongeveer 150 IT-professionals draag je bij aan een veilige, betrouwbare en toekomstbestendige netwerkomgeving. Binnen specialistische teams zoals Routing & Switching, Firewalls, Datacenter, WAN, Telefonie en Load Balancing werk je aan uitdagende technische vraagstukken met maatschappelijke impact. De werksfeer is informeel en collegiaal. Samenwerking, kennisdeling en persoonlijke ontwikkeling staan centraal, waardoor je volop ruimte krijgt om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen als netwerkspecialist. Functie Als medior netwerkspecialist ben je verantwoordelijk voor het beheren, onderhouden en verbeteren van de netwerk- en securityomgeving. Je werkt samen met ervaren specialisten aan wijzigingen, projecten en technische verbeteringen binnen een complexe enterprise-omgeving. Je ondersteunt bij het voorbereiden en uitvoeren van changes, analyseert incidenten en storingen en draagt bij aan het realiseren van een stabiele en veilige infrastructuur. Daarnaast werk je mee aan technische onderzoeken, de implementatie van netwerkapparatuur en het oplossen van netwerkvraagstukken. Dit gebeurt voornamelijk op afstand, in samenwerking met collega's, lokale ondersteuning en externe leveranciers. Je neemt deel aan infrastructurele projecten en werkt volgens Agile-principes aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de omgeving. Ook zorg je ervoor dat documentatie actueel blijft en denk je actief mee over verbeteringen en optimalisaties binnen het netwerklandschap. Omdat de ICT-diensten 24/7 beschikbaar moeten zijn, neem je deel aan consignatiediensten en ben je indien nodig buiten kantoortijden inzetbaar bij impactvolle incidenten of wijzigingen.
