Als Milieu- en Risicopreventieadviseur ben jij de operationele milieuspecialist binnen de organisatie. Je speelt een sleutelrol in het voorkomen van milieurisico’s, het garanderen van wettelijke conformiteit en het actief uitbouwen van een duurzame en preventieve werkcultuur. Je werkt nauw samen met verschillende teams en rapporteert binnen een matrixstructuur, waarbij je impact hebt op zowel beleid als praktijk.

1. Proactieve Milieuzorg – Preventie, Risico’s & Cultuur

  • Operationeel advies & coaching, Je adviseert en coacht collega’s en leidinggevenden over milieuprocedures, best practices en verbeterinitiatieven.
  • Controle, planning & borging, Je reviewt en valideert werkplannen en werkinstructies en zorgt ervoor dat milieuzorg structureel geïntegreerd is in operationele processen.
  • Monitoring & data-analyse, Je voert geplande rondgangen uit, verzamelt en analyseert milieugegevens (zoals water- en energieverbruik) en detecteert risico’s en optimalisatiemogelijkheden.
  • Training & bewustwording, Je ontwikkelt (mee) opleidings- en sensibiliseringsmateriaal en geeft praktijkgerichte trainingen en toolboxsessies.

2. Reactieve Milieuzorg – Incidentenbeheer

  • Coördinatie van milieu-incidenten, Je neemt het voortouw bij milieu-incidenten, stuurt corrigerende acties aan, onderzoekt oorzaken en volgt de voortgang van maatregelen op.
  • Advies & escalatie, Je adviseert over onmiddellijke maatregelen en escaleert waar nodig richting management of bevoegde instanties.
  • Je beschikt over een diploma hoger onderwijs of universitair niveau, bij voorkeur in milieuwetenschappen of een gelijkaardige richting.
  • Je hebt grondige kennis van milieuwetgeving en kan deze vertalen naar de praktijk.
  • Je hebt affiniteit met infrastructuur, bouw of technische omgevingen.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, gestructureerd en zelfstandig.
  • Je communiceert vlot en werkt graag samen in teamverband.
  • Je beschikt over overtuigingskracht en weet collega’s te motiveren en mee te nemen in verandering.
