Ga aan de slag al leerling storingsmonteur. Over het werk Als leerling storingsmonteur ga je samen met een ervaren monteur op pad en leer je alles over riolering, onderhoud en het oplossen van storingen. Je hoeft nog geen ervaren monteur te zijn: met jouw enthousiasme, inzet en twee rechterhanden leer je het vak in de praktijk! Je werkdag begint om 07:30 uur. Samen met een ervaren monteur vertrek je naar verschillende bedrijven en locaties om werkzaamheden aan rioleringen uit te voeren. Je planning ontvang je de dag van tevoren, zodat je weet waar je aan de slag gaat. Toch loopt een werkdag niet altijd zoals gepland. Er kan namelijk altijd een storing tussendoor komen die snel opgelost moet worden. Juist die afwisseling maakt jouw werk uitdagend! Je houdt je bezig met het aanleggen, onderhouden en repareren van rioleringen. Ook leer je hoe je storingen opspoort en verhelpt. Hierbij maak je gebruik van moderne machines, pompwagens en professioneel gereedschap. Je leert stap voor stap hoe je deze apparatuur gebruikt en hoe je verschillende problemen zelfstandig kunt aanpakken. Geen dag is hetzelfde. De ene dag werk je bij een fastfoodrestaurant of een vleesverwerkingsbedrijf, terwijl je op een ander moment betrokken bent bij grond- en graafwerkzaamheden voor de aanleg van riolering in een nieuwe woonwijk. En als er veel storingen zijn, kom je op allerlei verschillende locaties. Je hebt daarbij regelmatig contact met klanten, die je op een vriendelijke en professionele manier helpt. Je wordt volledig opgeleid tot monteur en krijgt de kans om het vak in de praktijk te leren van ervaren collega's.
