Jobomschrijving

Ben jij een technisch sterke Design Engineer met een passie voor 3D CAD, matrijzen en productontwikkeling? Als Mould Design Engineer werk je mee aan het ontwerpen en optimaliseren van hoogwaardige glasvormen voor de industriële productie van verpakkingsglas.

Je combineert technisch inzicht, nauwkeurigheid en creativiteit om samen met engineering, productie en externe leveranciers innovatieve en efficiënte matrijzen te ontwikkelen.

Jouw taken als Mould Design Engineer

  • Ontwerpen en ontwikkelen van matrijzen, plunjers, vormdelen en gereedschappen voor glasproductie
  • Optimaliseren van bestaande matrijsontwerpen voor betere productkwaliteit en procesefficiëntie
  • Analyseren en oplossen van technische problemen zoals breuk, vervorming en vormfouten
  • Uitwerken en beheren van 2D- en 3D-CAD-tekeningen
  • Opstellen van technische documentatie volgens geldende normen
  • Adviseren over materiaalkeuze, toleranties, afwerking en machine-instellingen
  • Ondersteunen van proefproducties en nieuwe productintroducties
  • Opvolgen van procesparameters en analyseren van productieresultaten
  • Standaardiseren van matrijsontwerpen en productie-instructies
  • Contact onderhouden met externe leveranciers en matrijzenproducenten
  • Opvolgen van kwaliteit, planning en budget bij matrijsontwikkeling en aankoop
  • Analyseren van prestaties, storingen, onderhoud en levensduur van matrijzen
  • Meewerken aan continuous improvement- en engineeringprojecten
  • Technologische ontwikkelingen opvolgen op het vlak van mould design, materialen, digitalisering en productieprocessen
  • Technische ondersteuning en opleiding bieden aan collega's

Jouw profiel

  • Bachelor in Werktuigbouwkunde, Industrieel Ontwerpen, Materiaaltechnologie of een vergelijkbare technische richting
  • Ervaring met technisch ontwerp en bij voorkeur met matrijzen of de glasindustrie
  • Goede kennis van 3D CAD, bij voorkeur CATIA
  • Kennis van toleranties, technische tekeningen, documentatie en normen zoals ISO en DIN
  • Analytisch en sterk in probleemoplossend denken
  • Nauwkeurig en kwaliteitsgericht
  • Goede kennis van Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk
  • Zelfstandig kunnen werken én vlot samenwerken met verschillende afdelingen
  • Interesse in techniek, innovatie en continue verbetering
