Opdrachtbeschrijving: We zoeken een Netscaler specialist voor de afdeling Basis Infra Netwerk (BIN). Duur opdracht is ongeveer 1-1,5 jaar. Afdeling Basis Infra Netwerk (BIN) is verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen en onderhouden van fysieke en logische netwerk-infrastructuur voor het RIVM en een aantal rijksoverheid organisaties, o.a. KNMI, CPB, PBL, CTGB. Focus ligt op inrichting en beheer van Cisco en Fortinet producten. Het BIN team is ook verantwoordelijk voor beheer van F5 en Netscaler load balancers, DNS/DHCP/PKI infrastructuur en nog vele andere producten en tools die het netwerkinfrastructuur veilig en stabiel maken. Hierin speel je als Netscaler specialist een belangrijke rol. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor technisch beheer, oplossen van problemen en realiseren van oplossingen voor onze Netscaler ADC load balancers. Een van de projecten die je gaat realiseren is migratie van de Netscaler clusters van fysieke apparatuur naar virtuele appliances. Ook hebben we plannen om onze test- en acceptatie-omgeving te (her)ontwerpen zodat die beter en representatiever ingezet kan worden. Daarnaast zijn we aan verkennen om op termijn (een deel van) de functionaliteit van Netscalers naar Citrix Gateway Services gaan over te zetten. Je bent een kundig en zelfstandig professional, die verantwoordelijkheid neemt en samenwerking proactief opzoekt. Jouw vakkennis weet je over de teams heen uit te wisselen en te versterken. Kennis van en ervaring met netwerken, bij voorkeur Cisco en/of Fortigate, is een pré. Kennis en ervaring met overige Citrix producten is een pré.
