Vitens staat als grootste drinkwaterbedrijf van Nederland voor een grote maatschappelijke uitdaging om nu én op de langere termijn voldoende drinkwater te kunnen blijven leveren aan al haar klanten. We zoeken een ervaren Omgevingsmanager voor het werkgebied Utrecht. Samen met je collega's vertaal je de Vitens strategie met behulp van Strategisch Omgevingsmanagement (SOM) naar een concrete strategie en aanpak voor het werkgebied. In deze rol bescherm en verduurzaam je onze bestaande drinkwaterwinningen door op te komen voor het drinkwaterbelang. Je volgt de ontwikkelingen die een impact op onze grondwaterbronnen kunnen hebben en borgt hierin het belang van grondwaterbescherming. Je werkt actief samen met provincie, waterschappen, gemeenten en natuurbeheerders aan een toekomstbestendig water- en natuursysteem. Intern werk je intensief samen met onder andere Omgevingsmanagers, de Gebiedsregisseur, de Regionaal Bestuursafgevaardigde, Ecologen en Hydrologen om gezamenlijk drinkwater opgaven te realiseren.
