Je hebt bijvoorbeeld gewerkt als huismeester, conciërge, klusser, facilitair medewerker, technisch medewerker of in een vergelijkbare functie waarin je praktische werkzaamheden uitvoerde. Je bent gewend om kleine reparaties te doen, problemen op te lossen en ervoor te zorgen dat spullen, ruimtes en gebouwen goed onderhouden blijven.

Je hebt ervaring met werkzaamheden zoals het oplossen van kleine storingen, repareren van meubels en inventaris, ophangen van materialen, vervangen van onderdelen en het uitvoeren van verschillende klussen in en rondom gebouwen. Je vindt het leuk om afwisselend werk te doen en pakt verschillende werkzaamheden zelfstandig op.

Je kunt goed luisteren naar opdrachten en werkt netjes en zorgvuldig. Je ziet wat er moet gebeuren en vindt het belangrijk dat de studenten, medewerkers en bezoekers zich prettig en veilig voelen in de gebouwen van Tilburg University.

Ervaring met facilitaire werkzaamheden, gebouwbeheer, onderhoud van scholen, kantoren of andere gebouwen is een voordeel. Een technische opleiding is niet het belangrijkste; jouw praktische ervaring, motivatie en bereidheid om nieuwe dingen te leren zijn belangrijk.

Een rijbewijs B is vereist, omdat je met een servicewagentje over het campusterrein rijdt.

Als onderhoudsmedewerker help je mee om de campus netjes, veilig en prettig te houden voor de duizenden studenten, medewerkers en bezoekers. Samen met je collega's zorg je ervoor dat kleine (technische) problemen worden opgelost en dat ruimtes en voorzieningen goed blijven werken.

Geen dag is hetzelfde. De ene dag loop je controlerondes door de gebouwen en voer je kleine reparaties uit. De andere dag los je een storing op, help je bij onderhoudswerkzaamheden of ondersteun je bij een evenement. Je werkt vaak zelfstandig, maar kunt altijd overleggen met je collega's.
