Onze klant is een groeiend technisch bedrijf actief in machinebouw en industriële automatisering. Het bedrijf realiseert uiteenlopende machines en installaties op maat, van afzonderlijke transportsystemen tot volledige productielijnen.

Van een idee op papier naar een machine die écht gebouwd wordt.

Heb jij een passie voor machines, techniek en 3D-ontwerp en wil je jouw ontwerpen niet alleen op een scherm zien, maar ook in het echt tot leven zien komen?

Dan is dit misschien wel de uitdaging die je zoekt.

Voor onze klant zijn we op zoek naar een junior ontwerper machinebouw die mee wil groeien binnen een technisch en veelzijdig productiebedrijf.

In deze functie krijg je de kans om projecten van dichtbij te volgen: van het eerste overleg en de technische uitwerking tot de productie en uiteindelijke oplevering. Je werkt nauw samen met collega's en de mensen in het atelier, waardoor je snel leert hoe een ontwerp in de praktijk wordt gebouwd en waar je het nog beter kunt maken.

Jouw project, van A tot Z.

Je werkt mee aan het mechanisch ontwerp van machines en productielijnen en neemt daarbij steeds meer verantwoordelijkheid op.

Je:

  • Verzamelt de technische specificaties door overleg met klanten en collega's en voert indien nodig opmetingen uit bij de klant
  • Denkt mee over technische oplossingen en werkt machines op maat uit, vertrekkend vanuit bestaande machineprincipes
  • Ontwerpt en tekent machines in 3D met SolidWorks
  • Werkt ontwerpen technisch verder uit zodat ze praktisch en efficiënt geproduceerd kunnen worden
  • Ondersteunt de verkoop door machineonderdelen te inventariseren en verkooptekeningen op te maken
  • Overlegt dagelijks met het atelier en stemt je ontwerpen af met de mensen die de machines daadwerkelijk bouwen
  • Ondersteunt de opmaak van productietekeningen en zorgt ervoor dat de productie over de juiste technische informatie beschikt
  • Ondersteunt bij de aankoop van specifieke machineonderdelen
  • Volgt bestellingen en leveringen van onderdelen voor jouw projecten mee op
  • Verwerkt eventuele wijzigingen en zorgt ervoor dat de finale as-built documentatie volledig en correct is

Het mooie aan deze functie? Je ziet jouw ontwerp letterlijk werkelijkheid worden.

Je begint met een idee, een schets of een vraag van een klant en volgt vervolgens mee hoe dit uitgroeit tot een echte machine of productielijn in het atelier.

Je bent technisch aangelegd, nieuwsgierig en krijgt energie van machines, techniek en het uitdenken van oplossingen.

  • Je beschikt over een technisch masterdiploma, bijvoorbeeld in (elektro)mechanica, industriële productietechnieken of een gelijkwaardige richting.
  • Je hebt technisch inzicht en kunt dit vertalen naar duidelijke en correcte tekeningen.
  • Een eerste relevante werkervaring is mooi meegenomen, maar geen must.
  • Je hebt interesse in mechanisch ontwerp en machinebouw.
  • Kennis van SolidWorks is een pluspunt, maar geen vereiste.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, hebt oog voor detail en neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor je werk.
  • Je bent na een interne opleiding in staat om zelfstandig te werken.
  • Je communiceert vlot met collega's en werkt graag samen met het atelier.
  • Je voelt je thuis in een productieomgeving en wilt graag zien hoe jouw ontwerpen werkelijkheid worden.

Je hoeft bij de start nog niet alles te kunnen. We zoeken vooral iemand met een goede technische basis, interesse in machinebouw en de motivatie om verder te groeien.
