The posting

Onze klant in de regio Mechelen is een groeiende logistieke speler, gespecialiseerd in snel- en ad-hoc transport. Ze zorgen ervoor dat dringende leveringen in de Benelux en internationaal stipt op hun bestemming geraken. Je komt terecht in een hecht team waar korte lijnen, een no-nonsense mentaliteit en directe communicatie centraal staan.

In deze rol als Operationeel Teamlead Wegtransport neem je de leiding over het planningsteam en stuur je de dagelijkse operatie en de chauffeurs aan. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de strategische en operationele planning van ad-hoc ritten, bewaart het overzicht op drukke momenten en rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de CFO/CEO.

Taken

  • Het dagelijks aansturen en begeleiden van een grote groep chauffeurs.
  • Het opmaken en op de voet bijsturen van de ad-hoc planning voor ongeveer 100 voertuigen
  • Het realtime schakelen bij dringende klantaanvragen waarbij opdrachten die vandaag binnenkomen vaak dezelfde dag nog moeten uitrijden.
  • Het direct onderhouden van klantcontacten over transportmogelijkheden, scherpe prijsafspraken en het opvolgen van lopende opdrachten.
  • Het meedenken over en begeleiden van de digitale transitie van Excel naar een nieuwe CRM-systeem

Profiel

  • Je beschikt over een relevante ervaring binnen transport, bij voorkeur in een sturende of trekkende rol.
  • Je houdt van korte lijnen, bent operationeel ingesteld, houdt van duidelijke communicatie en het coachen van een team.
  • Collega's omschrijven jou als stressbestendig, oplossingsgericht en communicatief sterk.
  • Je hebt affiniteit met Excel en de nodige maturiteit om administratie nauwkeurig op te volgen.
  • Je bent flexibel ingesteld om te werken in een vroege/dagshift (5u, 7u, 8u of 11u).
