Operations Manager Shape the future of logistics with GXO Ready to take the lead in a fast-paced, highly automated logistics environment? At GXO's state-of-the-art distribution centre in Lelystad, you'll play a key role in shaping the next phase of our growth. As we continue to expand, we're looking for an experienced Operations Manager who is excited by the opportunity to make a real impact. In this role, you'll take ownership of a 24/7 outbound and dispatch operation, leading large teams across rotating shifts. You'll have the autonomy to drive performance, embed a strong safety culture, and develop your people - all while delivering operational excellence at scale. If you thrive on leading from the front, using data to make smart decisions, and seeing the direct impact of your work every day, this is your opportunity to step into a high-visibility role within one of the most advanced logistics operations in the Netherlands. Your role as Operations Manager As Operations Manager, you are accountable for end‑to‑end execution within your shift and for contributing to overall site performance. Your responsibilities include: - Leading daily operational execution within your rotation, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient outbound and dispatch activities - Driving performance through KPIs, dashboards and data insights, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions - Championing LEAN, continuous improvement and process standardisation, ensuring operations remain scalable and consistent - Coaching and developing Warehouse Managers and their teams, including performance management, training and succession planning - Planning and allocating staff, workload and resources across shifts in close collaboration with support functions and the customer - Creating a safe, inclusive and engaging working environment, maintaining up‑to‑date procedures, documentation and compliance standards - Working closely with an...
