Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is een dochteronderneming van Safran Aircraft Engines, gevestigd op Brussels Airport (Zaventem & Steenokkerzeel, België), gespecialiseerd in de inspectie, het onderhoud en de reparatie (MRO) van de geavanceerde LEAP-straalmotoren die de nieuwste generatie van de Airbus A320NEO & Boeing B737MAX narrow body-families aandrijven.

Het bedrijf is een belangrijke speler in het geïntegreerde internationale MRO-netwerk van CFM. Met meer dan 75 jaar ervaring en tot 20 internationale Part 145-certificeringen (EASA/ FAA/ CAAC/ …) wordt Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels erkend als een wereldwijd expertisecentrum in de luchtvervoerssector. Meer dan 100 luchtvaartmaatschappijen, verhuurders, particuliere vliegtuigoperators en MRO-partners hebben hun motoren aan ons bedrijf toevertrouwd. We hebben meer dan 500 deskundige, gepassioneerde en enthousiaste medewerkers in dienst.

Als onderdeel van onze groei (RAMP UP) van LEAP-motoren zijn we op zoek naar Operations Shift Manager om onze teams te versterken.

Jobomschrijving

Je rapporteert aan de Operations Manager en geeft leiding aan montage-, demontage- en inspectieteams binnen een veeleisende lucht- en ruimtevaartomgeving. Je zorgt ervoor dat de dagelijkse werkplaatsactiviteiten veilig, efficiënt en volledig in overeenstemming met de normen van klanten, de luchtvaart en Safran verlopen. Je focus ligt op het tijdig behalen van de mijlpalen van de engine shop visits, met behoud van de hoogste kwaliteits- en veiligheidsniveaus.

Belangrijkste taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

Operaties & Planning

  • Wekelijkse productieplannen vertalen naar dagelijkse prioriteiten
  • Werkzaamheden op de werkvloer aansturen om tijdige oplevering te garanderen
  • Personeel en middelen efficiënt inzetten
  • Zorgen voor soepele ploegwisselingen
  • Afstemmen met de planning- en ondersteuningsteams

Teamleiderschap

  • Teamleiders, mechaniekers en inspectors aansturen en coachen
  • Training en prestatieverbetering stimuleren
  • Werving en ontwikkeling ondersteunen
  • Teamwork en verantwoordelijkheid bevorderen

Veiligheid & Kwaliteit

  • Toezien op de naleving van de HSE-normen
  • Bevorderen van een sterke veiligheidscultuur
  • Ervoor zorgen dat de kwaliteitsnormen binnen de luchtvaart worden nageleefd
  • Deelnemen aan audits en corrigerende maatregelen

Prestaties & Continue verbetering

  • Prestaties opvolgen met behulp van QRQC
  • Verbeteringen identificeren en doorvoeren
  • Kwaliteitsafwijkingen beheren
  • Processen en activiteiten optimaliseren

Je profiel:

  • Je bent zowel een leider als een teamspeler, in staat om anderen te inspireren en tegelijkertijd goed samen te werken.
  • Je beschikt over de nodige expertise: je hebt een bachelor- of masterdiploma in elektromechanica en 3–5 jaar relevante ervaring in een industriële omgeving.
  • Je beschikt over aantoonbare sterke people management skills en bent gemotiveerd om nieuwe uitdagingen vol vertrouwen aan te gaan.
  • Je bent analytisch en veerkrachtig, presteert goed onder druk en houdt deadlines scherp in de gaten.
  • Je bent communicatief en spreekt vloeiend Nederlands, Frans en Engels.
  • Je bent flexibel en bereid om in ploegendienst te werken (maandag tot en met vrijdag: 06.00–14.00 uur, 14.00–22.00 uur).
