Na een korte afstemming met je collega's weet je wat er geproduceerd moet worden en ga je aan de slag met jouw machine. Als operator in de houtbewerking zorg jij ervoor dat houten producten volgens de juiste specificaties worden gemaakt. Je leest werkbonnen en technische tekeningen, stelt de machine correct in en houdt tijdens het productieproces scherp in de gaten of alles volgens planning verloopt. Moet de machine worden omgebouwd voor een andere opdracht? Dan pak je dat zelfstandig op. Zie je tijdens de productie een afwijking? Dan wacht je niet af, maar stuur je het proces bij. Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit: - Instellen, ombouwen en bedienen van moderne houtbewerkingsmachines; - Lezen en interpreteren van werkbonnen en technische tekeningen; - Bewaken van het productieproces; - Controleren van producten op kwaliteit en specificaties; - Samenwerken met collega's om opdrachten volgens planning af te ronden. Je werkt zelfstandig aan jouw werkzaamheden, maar staat er niet alleen voor. Samen met ervaren collega's zorg je ervoor dat kwaliteit en productie hand in hand gaan.
