The posting

Voor een zelfstandige optiekzaak in Mechelen zijn we op zoek naar een enthousiaste Opticien Store Manager die mee wil bouwen aan de toekomst van de winkel.

De zaak staat voor een volledige vernieuwing. Daardoor stap je niet zomaar in een bestaande werking, maar krijg je de kans om vanaf het begin mee na te denken over de aanpak, uitstraling en verdere groei van de winkel.

Als Opticien Store Manager combineer je jouw vakkennis als opticien met verantwoordelijkheid voor de dagelijkse werking. Je blijft zelf actief op de winkelvloer en werkt nauw samen met een jonge, gemotiveerde collega.

Je taken bestaan onder andere uit:

  • klanten persoonlijk ontvangen en adviseren;
  • uitvoeren van oogmetingen;
  • adviseren en verkopen van brillen en contactlenzen;
  • klanten begeleiden bij de keuze van glazen en monturen;
  • uitvoeren en/of opvolgen van atelierwerk;
  • opvolgen van bestellingen en klantendossiers;
  • mee instaan voor een vlotte dagelijkse werking van de winkel;
  • initiatief nemen en prioriteiten stellen;
  • meedenken over de inrichting en uitstraling van de vernieuwde winkel;
  • commerciële opportuniteiten herkennen en mee werken aan de verdere groei;
  • ideeën aanbrengen om de klantenbeleving en werking te verbeteren.

Je krijgt veel autonomie en inspraak. Er is bovendien ondersteuning voorzien op het vlak van marketing, zodat je er niet alleen voor staat.

Heb je nog nooit officieel als Store Manager gewerkt? Dat hoeft geen probleem te zijn. We zoeken vooral een opticien die klaar is om meer verantwoordelijkheid op te nemen, initiatief toont en energie krijgt van het idee om iets verder uit te bouwen.

Voor deze functie zoeken we een opticien die vakkennis combineert met commerciële feeling en zin voor verantwoordelijkheid.

Je:

  • hebt een opleiding of achtergrond als opticien;
  • kan zelfstandig oogmetingen uitvoeren;
  • hebt kennis van brillen, glazen en contactlenzen;
  • bent commercieel ingesteld en adviseert klanten graag;
  • hecht veel belang aan persoonlijke service;
  • neemt graag initiatief;
  • kan zelfstandig werken en verantwoordelijkheid opnemen;
  • denkt graag mee over verbeteringen en nieuwe ideeën;
  • werkt georganiseerd en houdt het overzicht;
  • bent enthousiast om samen met een collega een winkel verder uit te bouwen;
  • hebt interesse in de commerciële en organisatorische kant van een optiekzaak.

Ervaring als Store Manager of leidinggevende is geen vereiste. Heb je al enkele jaren ervaring als opticien en voel je dat je klaar bent voor meer autonomie en verantwoordelijkheid? Dan komen we eveneens heel graag met je in contact.
