Intro

Voor een internationale productieorganisatie in de regio Waasland zoeken we een ervaren Packaging Specialist die technische kennis van verpakkingen combineert met projectmanagement, duurzaamheid en een praktische ingesteldheid.

Je krijgt een brede functie waarin je bestaande verpakkingen analyseert, nieuwe oplossingen onderzoekt en technische verbeterprojecten van A tot Z begeleidt.

Je werkt nauw samen met verschillende interne afdelingen, productiesites en externe leveranciers en krijgt veel autonomie om verpakkingsprocessen verder te optimaliseren en toekomstbestendig te maken.

Jobomschrijving

Wat Ga Je Doen?

  • Je analyseert en optimaliseert bestaande verpakkingsoplossingen op vlak van kwaliteit, kostprijs, duurzaamheid en produceerbaarheid.
  • Je onderzoekt nieuwe materialen en technische alternatieven en beoordeelt welke oplossingen praktisch en economisch haalbaar zijn.
  • Je trekt verschillende packagingprojecten van A tot Z en bewaakt timing, kwaliteit, technische haalbaarheid en implementatie.
  • Je beoordeelt technische tekeningen, verpakkingsspecificaties en materiaalkeuzes en detecteert concrete verbeterkansen.
  • Je vertaalt veranderende wetgeving en duurzaamheidsvereisten naar werkbare oplossingen binnen de organisatie.
  • Je fungeert als technisch aanspreekpunt voor verschillende interne afdelingen en zorgt voor een goede afstemming tussen engineering, productie, aankoop, kwaliteit en commerciële teams.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met externe leveranciers rond nieuwe materialen, technische mogelijkheden, testen en optimalisaties.
  • Je bouwt technische documentatie, specificaties en richtlijnen verder uit en zorgt ervoor dat informatie correct wordt beheerd.
  • Je volgt nieuwe ontwikkelingen binnen verpakkingsmaterialen en duurzame technologieën actief op.
  • Je ondersteunt internationale projecten en bezoekt op regelmatige basis andere productielocaties om implementaties en technische verbeteringen mee op te volgen.

Wie Ben Je?

  • Je hebt een bachelor- of masteropleiding in een technische richting, productontwikkeling, engineering, packaging technology of een vergelijkbare opleiding.
  • Praktische en relevante ervaring binnen verpakkingen is belangrijker dan jouw exacte diploma.
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur minstens 4 à 5 jaar ervaring binnen packaging, productontwikkeling of een technische projectomgeving.
  • Je hebt kennis van verschillende verpakkingsmaterialen zoals karton, papier, kunststoffen en folies.
  • Je kunt technische tekeningen, specificaties en verpakkingsconstructies inhoudelijk beoordelen.
  • Je combineert technische kennis met een goed inzicht in kostprijs, duurzaamheid en productie-efficiëntie.
  • Je bent sterk in projectmanagement en kunt zelfstandig meerdere projecten en prioriteiten beheren.
  • Je communiceert vlot en krijgt gemakkelijk verschillende interne en externe stakeholders mee in jouw voorstellen.
  • Je werkt analytisch en nauwkeurig, maar bent tegelijk pragmatisch en oplossingsgericht.
  • Je spreekt vlot Engels.
  • Je bent bereid om regelmatig internationaal te reizen.
