The posting

Als persoonlijk assistent ondersteun je een client met een visuele beperking in haar dagelijkse leven. Je helpt haar om haar zelfredzaamheid te vergroten en begeleidt haar bij uiteenlopende activiteiten, zowel thuis als buitenshuis.

We zoeken we een assistent die stevig in de schoenen staat. Je biedt niet alleen praktische hulp (zoals boodschappen, administratie, sport en vervoer), maar fungeren ook als een rustige, stabiele en duidelijke baken in haar dagstructuur.

Praktisch: Je werkt 16 uur per week, verdeeld over 4 voormiddagen (maandag, dinsdag, donderdag en vrijdag - telkens 4 uur per dag).

Houding & Persoonlijkheid:

  • Je bent warm, betrokken en geduldig, maar tegelijkertijd veerkrachtig en evenwichtig.
  • Je beschikt over een goed aanvoelingsvermogen en weet op een natuurlijke manier duidelijkheid en rust te bieden.
  • Je hebt een mature ingesteldheid: je kunt goed omgaan met wisselende stemmingen of dynamieken en laat je niet snel uit balans brengen.
  • Je begrijpt het belang van een gezonde balans tussen professionele nabijheid en afstand.

Ervaring:

  • Ervaring in de zorg, sociaal-agogische sector of met mensen met een bijzondere of kwetsbare ondersteuningsvraag is vereist.
  • Ervaring met een visuele beperking is meegenomen, maar geen vereiste.

Praktisch:

  • Je beschikt over een eigen wagen en rijbewijs B om samen op pad te gaan (vergoeding voor gereden kilometers).
  • Dagelijkse structuur & Begeleiding: Je helpt de client bij het aanbrengen van overzicht en houvast in haar weekplanning en ondersteunt haar bij het nakomen van gemaakte afspraken.
  • Administratieve ondersteuning: Je helpt bij de administratie, zoals het openen, voorlezen, sorteren en opvolgen van de post.
  • Begeleiding bij sport en vrije tijd: Je begeleidt de client naar de fitness (ondersteuning bij toestellen) en het zwembad (veiligheid en begeleiding ter plaatse). Je gaat mee naar afspraken (zoals de tandarts of arts) en maakt tijd voor ontspannende activiteiten zoals een wandeling, winkelbezoek of een terrasje.
  • Huishoudelijke ondersteuning: Je ondersteunt bij alledaagse taken zoals boodschappen doen, samen koken, opruimen en lichte huishoudelijke taken.
