Een inhoudelijke rol voor jou als PA (Physician Assistant). Jouw nieuwe baan Bij een nieuwe opname of acute zorgvraag beoordeel je wat medisch nodig is en stuur je het behandelbeleid bij. Als PA ben je regiebehandelaar voor jouw eigen cliënten en verantwoordelijk voor de medische zorg vanaf de opname. Je voert anamneses uit, doet lichamelijk onderzoek en stelt diagnoses. Ook bepaal je het behandelbeleid, schrijft medicatie voor en volgt de voortgang van de behandeling. Daarbij schakel je tussen langdurige zorg, crisiszorg en complexe medische vraagstukken. Je stemt af met zorgprofessionals, behandelaren en naasten. Naast de directe cliëntenzorg deel je jouw kennis met collega's en begeleid je hen in hun vakontwikkeling. Ook denk je mee over verbeteringen in werkwijzen en behandelprocessen. Jouw nieuwe werkplek Je gaat aan de slag binnen een grote ouderenzorgorganisatie waar specialistische zorg, innovatie en persoonlijke aandacht samenkomen. Ouderen ontvangen hier ondersteuning bij uiteenlopende zorgvragen, variërend van langdurige zorg tot crisiszorg. De medische vakgroep bestaat uit specialisten ouderengeneeskunde, verpleegkundig specialisten, physician assistants, basisartsen en AIOS. Binnen deze groep staan kennisdeling, samenwerking en professionele ontwikkeling centraal. Complexe casuïstiek bespreek je samen met collega's. Daardoor sta je er nooit alleen voor, terwijl je wel veel zelfstandigheid ervaart in jouw dagelijkse werkzaamheden.
