Arbeidscontract 16 - 28 uren per week Opleidingsniveau(s) Hbo Plaats(en) Heerenveen Pijn is voor iedereen anders. Soms tijdelijk, soms blijvend. Als pijnconsulent bij Frisius MC begeleid je patiënten op momenten waarop het ingewikkeld wordt. Je kijkt verder dan alleen de klacht en helpt mensen omgaan met pijn, in welke vorm die zich ook voordoet. Je werkt zelfstandig, schakelt veel met verschillende specialismen en maakt in elk contact het verschil. Met aandacht, kennis en de juiste vragen. Jouw afdeling en collega's Je maakt deel uit van een team van 5 andere pijnconsulenten, waarin iedereen een eigen werkwijze heeft en zelfstandig werkt. Tegelijkertijd ben je onderdeel van een team waarop je kunt terugvallen en waarin je elkaar opvangt waar nodig. Je werkt op verschillende plekken binnen het ziekenhuis en op de poli. Geen dag is hetzelfde: je weet vaak pas op de dag zelf welke patiënten je ziet en wat er op je pad komt. Jij bij Frisius MC Als pijnconsulent werk je zowel op de pijnpoli als binnen de acute pijn service (APS) in het ziekenhuis. Je begeleidt patiënten met acute, chronische en oncologische pijn en bent betrokken bij hun behandeling en begeleiding. Je werkweek is afwisselend: de ene dag werk je poliklinisch, de andere dag loop je in het ziekenhuis consulten. Je werkt afwisselend op de poli en in het ziekenhuis. Die combinatie zorgt ervoor dat je een brede rol hebt en met verschillende patiëntengroepen werkt. Op de poli: - Voer je telefonische consulten en evalueer je behandelingen. - Begeleid je patiënten bij het op- en afbouwen van medicatie. - Start en begeleid je behandelingen zoals TENS (Je begeleidt behandelingen met elektrische impulsen en zorgt dat patiënten weten hoe ze deze zelfstandig kunnen gebruiken). - Geef je uitleg en instructie zodat patiënten thuis verder kunnen.
