Bij een ontwerper en fabrikant van automatiseringsoplossingen in Oud-Beijerland werk je aan besturingen voor maritieme en industriële toepassingen. De organisatie combineert softwareontwikkeling met kennis van laagspanningssystemen. Als PLC Programmeur vertaal je klantwensen naar besturingssoftware die je vanaf de basis ontwerpt, programmeert en test. Je blijft betrokken tot en met de inbedrijfstelling en het beheer, zodat je ook in de praktijk ziet hoe jouw software functioneert. Je besteedt ongeveer de helft van je tijd aan PLC-engineering en softwareontwikkeling, aangevuld met inbedrijfstelling, testen en gebruikersondersteuning. Je werkt meestal zelfstandig, met ondersteuning van een team van drie tot vijf engineers. Bij softwarestoringen help je servicemonteurs gericht verder, op locatie of vanuit de werkplaats. Daarbij houd je versiebeheer en documentatie zorgvuldig bij. Via cursussen, opleidingen en samenwerking met collega's kun je je verdiepen in besturingstechniek, frequentieregelaars en softwareontwikkeling. Functie-inhoud - Klantwensen analyseren en vertalen naar technische oplossingen voor maritieme en industriële systemen - PLC- en besturingssoftware vanaf de basis ontwerpen en programmeren - Software testen en valideren op correcte werking en betrouwbaarheid - Systemen bij klanten in bedrijf stellen en technisch afstellen - Servicemonteurs coachen bij het onderzoeken en oplossen van softwarestoringen - Softwareversies beheren, documentatie bijhouden en gebruikers ondersteunen Functie-eisen - Een hbo-opleiding Elektrotechniek of Automatisering - Ervaring met zelfstandig programmeren van PLC-software vanaf de basis - Kennis van frequentieregelaars, hogere programmeertalen zoals Java, C++ en C, en objectgeoriënteerd programmeren - Relevante werkervaring in een vergelijkbare functie, bij voorkeur binnen industriële automatisering - Commerciële vaardigheden en oog voor klantbelangen én technische haalbaarheid - Goede beheersing van het Nederlands en Eng.
