The posting

Bij een installatiebedrijf in Rotterdam dat al meer dan 50 jaar technische installaties voor de scheepvaart ontwikkelt, werk je aan de besturing van scheepsinstallaties. Je vertaalt klantwensen naar PLC-programmatuur, bouwt HMI-bedieningen en configureert frequentie- en servoregelaars. Daarbij pak je zelfstandig de verantwoordelijkheid voor je besturingsoplossingen: van softwareontwerp en testen tot het oplossen van storingen en de inbedrijfstelling aan boord. Je dagelijkse werk wisselt tussen programmeren op kantoor en technische werkzaamheden bij klanten, ook internationaal. Je werkt zowel zelfstandig als samen met collega's en ondersteunt servicemonteurs bij het analyseren van storingen. Met klanten bespreek je wat een installatie moet doen en hoe de bediening daarop aansluit. Je combineert daardoor softwareontwikkeling met praktisch inzicht in scheepstechniek. Via opleidingen en cursussen kun je je verder verdiepen in industriële automatisering en doorgroeien binnen je vak.
