The posting

Bij een internationale leverancier van machines en procesinstallaties voor de voedingsmiddelen-, dranken- en procesindustrie in Bakel ontwikkel je software voor industriële besturingen. Je vertaalt klantvragen naar werkbare softwareoplossingen en bouwt samen met andere engineers aan klantspecifieke toepassingen. Daarbij vormt programmeren volgens IEC 61131-3, met name Structured Text, een belangrijke basis. Kennis van B&R PLC’s komt goed van pas. Je betrokkenheid stopt niet bij de ontwikkeling: je installeert de toepassingen ook bij klanten wereldwijd. In de dagelijkse praktijk wissel je programmeerwerk af met technisch overleg, het testen van besturingsfuncties en het begeleiden van gebruikers. Je werkt in een internationaal team en legt klanten uit hoe zij met de machines en software werken. Voor installaties op locatie ben je bereid ongeveer 10 tot 20% te reizen. Door de combinatie van softwareontwikkeling, klantcontact en ingebruikname verdiep je zowel je programmeerkennis als je inzicht in industriële processen.
