The posting

Bij een ontwikkelaar van energiemanagement- en snellaadsystemen in de regio Veldhoven werk je aan software voor elektrische voertuigen en laadinfra. Als PLC Software Engineer vertaal je software-eisen naar een helder ontwerp en ontwikkel je besturingssoftware in CoDeSys 2.3 en 3.5. Je bent betrokken bij het volledige traject van ontwerp tot release, inclusief implementatie, unit- en functietesten. Daarmee draag je bij aan betrouwbaar laden voor onder meer openbaar vervoer en commercieel transport. In je dagelijkse werk combineer je programmeren met het analyseren van technische vraagstukken, testen en documenteren. Je stemt ontwerpkeuzes af met het multidisciplinaire productontwikkelingsteam, neemt deel aan softwareoverleg en rapporteert aan de R&D Manager. Ook ondersteun je integratie- en systeemtesten. Je verdiept je in softwarearchitecturen en laadtechnologie en krijgt ruimte voor training en verbetering van het ontwikkel- en testproces. Wat ga je doen? - Vertalen van software-eisen naar softwareontwerpen en ontwerpdocumentatie - Ontwikkelen en implementeren van PLC-code in CoDeSys 2.3 en 3.5 - Schrijven en uitvoeren van unit- en functietesten in CoDeSys of externe testtools - Ondersteunen bij integratie- en systeemtesten en oplossen van complexe softwarevraagstukken - Afstemmen van technische keuzes tijdens productontwikkelings- en softwareteamoverleg - Opstellen van release notes en configuratiehandboeken - Verbeteren van het softwareontwikkel- en testproces Wat vragen we van jou? - Hbo-diploma Computer Science of een andere softwaregerelateerde opleiding - Minimaal drie jaar relevante ervaring binnen een hightechorganisatie - Kennis van PLC-softwareontwikkeling volgens IEC 61131; ervaring met CoDeSys 2.3/3.5 is een pré - Overzicht over het softwaretraject van ontwerp tot release, met aandacht voor architectuur, kwaliteit en documentatie - Uitstekend Engels en het vermogen om complexe softwareconcepten begrijpelijk uit te leggen; Nederlands is een pré - Proa.
