The posting

Vander Plaetsen Construct is een sterk groeiend metaalconstructiebedrijf uit Assenede, actief in industriële montage en constructiewerken. Als ploegbaas metaalconstructie ben jij het aanspreekpunt en de sturende kracht op de werf bij Arcelor Mittal Gent. Je coördineert het werk van jouw ploeg monteurs en lassers en zorgt voor een veilige, efficiënte en kwaliteitsvolle uitvoering van de opdrachten.

Je start de werkdag met het aanvragen van de nodige werkvergunningen en een heldere taakverdeling. Vervolgens begeleid je jouw team in het uitvoeren van montage- en laswerken aan uiteenlopende metaalconstructies. Je houdt toezicht op de voortgang van de werkzaamheden, stuurt bij waar nodig en grijpt in bij technische problemen of onvoorziene situaties.

Daarnaast:

  • Controleer je de veiligheid en naleving van de werkinstructies op de werkvloer
  • Selecteer en controleer je het benodigde materiaal, gereedschap en machines
  • Volg je de planning, prestaties en administratie van je team nauwgezet op de werkvloer
  • Analyseer je storingen of productieverstoringen en stel je corrigerende advies voor
  • Werk je nauw samen met andere afdelingen zoals onderhoud en kwaliteit
  • Denk je actief mee over verbeteringen en ondersteunje nieuwe collega’s in hun groei

Wat breng je mee?

  • Je hebt minstens 5 jaar ervaring in metaalconstructie, waarvan minimum 2 jaar als leidinggevende
  • Je beschikt over een goede kennis van elektrodelassen
  • Je kan technische plannen vlot lezen en begrijpen
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk, zelfstandig, communicatief en stressbestendig
  • Je spreekt goed Nederlands, en hebt een goede kennis Engels
  • Je beschikt over een rijbewijs B

  • Attest aanslaan en uitwijzen van lasten
  • Bekwaamheidstest voor hoogwerker en verreiker
