Als poortchecker speel je een belangrijke rol binnen het logistieke proces. Je start bij de poort, waar je verantwoordelijk bent voor de controle van containers die de terminal binnenkomen en verlaten. Na een inwerkperiode groei je door naar de reparatieafdeling, waar je containers inspecteert op schade en hun inzetbaarheid beoordeelt. Geen dag is hetzelfde: je werkt in een dynamische omgeving, hebt veel contact met chauffeurs en collega's en draagt direct bij aan een veilige en efficiënte operatie. Dit ga je verder doen: - Uitvoeren van visuele controles op containers die de terminal in- en uitrijden. - Registreren van containergegevens met behulp van een handheld scanner. - Signaleren en rapporteren van afwijkingen of schades. - Toezien op de naleving van veiligheidsvoorschriften door chauffeurs en bezoekers. - Begeleiden van verkeersstromen op het terrein waar nodig. - Zorgdragen voor een correcte administratieve verwerking van controles.
