In Rotterdam zijn er gestructureerde werkmethoden en duidelijke roosters, waaronder 2-ploegendienst en 5-ploegendienst, met compensatie voor onregelmatige werktijden. De rol van Proces Operator is essentieel voor het waarborgen van productie en kwaliteit en omvat dagelijkse controles, kleine interventies en nauwe samenwerking met techniek en onderhoud zodat processen veilig en efficiënt blijven draaien.
