In regio Waregem kom je terecht bij een kapitaalkrachtige en snelgroeiende West-Vlaamse KMO binnen de chemische industrie. De organisatie produceert bouwgerelateerde materialen en groeide de voorbije jaren uit tot een moderne productieomgeving met ongeveer 90 medewerkers. Op de werkvloer vind je sterk geautomatiseerde installaties, een technisch machinepark en veel ruimte om processen verder te optimaliseren.

Als Process Engineer neem je een brede technische rol op tussen productie, onderhoud en automatisatie. Je analyseert bestaande processen, werkt verbeteringen uit en bent regelmatig aanwezig op de werkvloer om technische optimalisaties ook praktisch te laten landen.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als procesingenieur analyseer je productieprocessen en werk je verbeteringen uit rond efficiëntie, capaciteit, kwaliteit en betrouwbaarheid
  • Je detecteert knelpunten in de productieflow en vertaalt deze naar haalbare oplossingen die verspilling beperken en prestaties versterken
  • Vanuit jouw technische expertise ondersteun je productie, onderhoud en automatisatie bij operationele en procesmatige vraagstukken
  • Je neemt een coördinerende rol op richting het technische team, waaronder automatisatie en onderhoud, zodat verbeteracties correct worden opgevolgd
  • Daarnaast ben je regelmatig aanwezig op de werkvloer om processen van dichtbij te begrijpen, bij te sturen en verder te optimaliseren
  • Je hebt een bachelor of master in Elektromechanica of een gelijkaardige technische richting
  • Minstens 3 jaar ervaring binnen een productieomgeving is vereist, bij voorkeur binnen voeding, chemie of een procesgerichte industrie
  • Je werkt hands-on, voelt je thuis op de werkvloer en communiceert vlot in het Nederlands
  • Ervaring met AutoCAD is een plus!
